Hohner Big Valley 48 Tremolo
A tremolo harmonica offers a remarkable, beautiful sound, thanks to its two rows of holes. Behind every hole there is a reed, and you blow through two of these holes in every position. The reeds behind those holes are tuned just a bit apart, which allows for a beautiful tone with a pleasant vibration to it. It's a sound that is very common in old folk songs and many country classics. The Hohner Big Valley has 48 holes and is 7 inches (18 cm) long.
Value for Money
Despite the fact that this model is much more affordable than its colleagues, its quality is nothing to scoff at. The Big Valley features a comb made from ABS plastic, which -unlike a wooden comb - does not absorb liquid or swell up over time, making the Big Valley much more durable. As such, it provides a stable base for a great harmonica. The reed plates and the 48 reeds are all made of brass, while the covers on the sides are made of stainless steel. Finally, the brand name and model of the harmonica are visible on the instrument with a nice font and some great illustrations to go with them. All in all, it's an affordable tremolo harmonica that still showcases that excellent quality and sound that Hohner harmonicas are famous for.

Leuke ouderwetse harmonica,klinkt goed voor een product uit China, de Duitse zijn beter en voller van klank, maar je beurs moet ook voller zijn voor een Duits product. Wel zou ik willen aanraden om de Hohner site op te zoeken om te zien waar de noten en octaven zitten, als je deze harmonica koopt, de gebruiksaanwijzing die er bij zit daar heb je niet veel aan. www.hohner.de

Het instrument wordt geleverd in een doosje dat - het zou Hohner niet zijn, je kunt het verwachten - tip top verzorgd is.
